They would need a healthy balance sheet with working capital.

Working Capital Required		A buyer of a Mrs. Fields franchise would need a sum of money for working capital. During the process of learning about the franchise opportunity a buyer should check with the franchisor as to that requirement.You will need to provide a Bank Guarantee to the landlord as required under the lease. These are site specific and vary depending on the requirements of the landlord. Allow between 2 and 4 months rent as the value of the guarantee.
